The Privacy Policy

We believe that great relationships are built on trust, authenticity and clear communication. That same principle applies to how we handle your personal information.

This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect, why we need it, how we use it and how we keep it safe when you visit our website, join an interest list or work with us.  No legal jargon, just clear information about your rights and our responsibilities.

  • Inquiry + Contact Data: Your name, email address, phone number, job title, company name, referral source and any details you share when filling out a contact form or emailing us directly.

3. Why We Collect It + Our Lawful Basis

Under UK data protection law, we must have a valid legal reason (a "lawful basis") to collect and process your personal information. We rely on the following:

  • Consent: When you voluntarily sign up for a programme waitlist, join an interest list or accept non-essential website cookies. You can withdraw your consent at any time.

  • Contractual Necessity: When processing your information is required to fulfill a proposal, issue an invoice or deliver coaching, workshop, or consultancy services you’ve booked.

  • Legitimate Interests: When responding to direct inquiries, managing our day-to-day business operations or improving our programs.  We always balance our business needs in line with your right to privacy.

  • Legal Obligation: Retaining financial, transactional and invoicing records to comply with UK accounting and tax (HMRC) requirements.

4. How We Use Your Data

We use your information strictly to support your journey with Towerful. Specifically, to:

  • Respond to your messages, questions and discovery call requests.

  • Process workshop bookings, deliver client engagements and manage invoicing.

  • Notify you when cohort places, workshops or new experiences open for registration.

  • Gather feedback to continually improve how our workshops and programmes run.

Our Direct Promise: We will never sell, rent, trade or spam your personal information to third parties. Ever.

5. Where Your Data Lives + Third-Party Tools

To run Towerful smoothly, securely and efficiently, we use a small selection of trusted, industry-standard software tools. These third-party processors handle data on our behalf under strict confidentiality and security standards:

  • Website & Form Storage: Squarespace (hosts our site and securely routes form submissions).

  • Email + Workspace: Google Workspace / Google Drive (for managing inquiries, email communication and secure document storage).

  • Accounting + Invoicing: FreeAgent (for processing business invoicing and financial records).

Some of these platforms may store data on servers located outside the UK or European Economic Area (EEA). Where this occurs, they have appropriate safeguards in place to keep your data protected to UK standards.

6. How Long We Keep Your Data

We don't hold onto personal data longer than necessary. Our retention periods are guided by simple, common-sense principles:

  • Inquiries + Waitlists: We keep your contact information for as long as the relevant programme or interest list is active or until you ask us to remove you.

  • Client + Financial Records: Invoices, contracts and financial correspondence are retained for 6 years following the end of the UK tax year to comply with HMRC accounting laws.

  • Website Analytics: Basic website performance data is retained in accordance with standard platform analytics cycles.

7. Your Legal Rights

Under UK GDPR, you hold full control over your personal information. You have the right to:

  • Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.

  • Correction: Ask us to update or correct any inaccurate information.

  • Erasure ("Right to be Forgotten"): Ask us to delete your personal data from our systems (where we don't have a legal obligation to keep it).

  • Withdraw Consent: Unsubscribe from waitlists, interest updates or communications at any time by emailing us or clicking an unsubscribe link.

  • Object / Restrict: Ask us to stop or limit processing your data in certain circumstances.
